I originally wrote the Salary Calculator to help me as I looked for a job a few years ago. Some jobs state that they pay x amount per year, whereas other jobs say that they pay x amount per hour, or x amount bi-monthly. This program helped me to make a decent comparison.
Although the program shouldn't be considered completely accurate (i.e. if an employer pays 2x per month, as opposed to every 14 days), it still gives a good ballpark figure.
